We understand gender is not restricted to binary roles of male and female. We know aligning your identity with your gender is important to your health.Â
Gender-affirming hormone therapy is a medical intervention for people of trans experience or gender non-conforming individuals. Hormone replacement therapy allows the acquisition of secondary sex characteristics more aligned with an individual’s gender identity.Â

Providing gender affirming care to our patients gives us the opportunity to help members of the trans community access feminizing and masculinizing hormone therapy safely. It is important our patients receive social and medical recognition that supports their gender identity and expression.Â
Transwomen, transmen, and non-binary patients interested in Gender-Affirming Care should contact their provider for more information. All Positive Impact Health Centers’ providers, at every location, will be providing gender affirming care.Â

Trans Life Care Drop-In Center (TLC)) is now open at the Decatur location. Come mingle, gather resources, and enjoy a safe space for Transgender and Gender Non-Conforming people.Â
Visit us at 523 Church St, Decatur on Wednesdays between 3 to 5 p.m.
